Hi there.
i'm from austria and recently moved to the usa. i finally got my work permit but i'm kind of insecure regarding the resume and job search as a whole.
need someone to give me some advice. desperately.
for example:
* my education is called "kollege", but translated as "college" that makes no sense... (it was two+one years on-the-job-training. you need a "general qualification for university entrance" to attend that school but in fact it's no university. how would you call this in english?)
* does it make sense to "apply cold"
* is it enough to send three to four examples in my pdf portfolio an how many examples do they expect me to show at the interview?
* is there copy shop in Portland where I can use a mac + graphic applications?...

What are good universities in medicine ? I don't want them to be really really hard like Harvard or Cornell.
5 or 6 medical universities from the UK would be okay.
If you can, add 2 or 3 from USA as well.

    Thnx in advance
