American Career College LVN program

American Career College Review – 11/26

I am student in this college now, LVN-WE. Please DO NOT put yourself here. all the educator here are lazy and rude, they don’t know much about nursing, I’ve experience clinical in sub-acute at Knott Ave Care center, My Instructor Mrs. M was rude and not professional, she always look for student mistakes and yelled at you in front of nurses and patients until the patient told us “your teacher is a terrible person.” And she always favorite some students because they talk same language.
The Principal of LVN program is rude too, she always talk nice in front of class by saying come to me if you have problem, but when she has some student complaint about something, she always refuse and always say I DON’T HAVE TIME FOR YOUR PROBLEM!! What kind of educator is that? We are here for study and learn about nursing, but they just want your money and will make you failed, if they see your grade not satisfied them.
Please..please.. please consider this school once again, I paid $700 a month for 18 months and with student loan for $20, 000. I wish I can quit from here and get a better school, who have good educator and facility. Thank you for your time to read this.

UCLA has a fabulous program.

by mobettuhbunny

The actors we see out of that school are consistently very, very good with great voices. Cal Arts also has a good program. UC San Diego also has a great program. If you're not up for the four year thing, American Academy of Dramatic Arts seems to turn out a lot of fine actors who have either discovered after they have their degree that they want to act or people who are just in a hurry. Shorter than that, Los Angeles City College also has a good program.
Having lived in LA for many years, let me give you an additional word of advice - there are only a few hundred actors in this town who consistently earn their living acting

Immigrant needs Job Counselling in Los Angeles

by immiquestions

I have a friend who needs GOOD career counselling help. He is Korean and had a good Business/Marketing degree there, worked for an American company over there, but now is here as a permanent resident and his degree is moot here. He needs to get advice on some schooling and/or programs that will take him out of menial computer entry type jobs he's doing now and put him back into his field, or a related one. His english vocab is large but his grammar is not perfect so we know English is something to work on -- but it's direction and goals he needs help with.
Any places we can call that anyone can recommend? He's 35 and can't see tackling another 4 years of college

A link will do too but i prefer a self made list...thanks...

    • I just searched on this this morning and what I found was a list of graduate engineering schools, but no undergraduate list.

I think you will have to create such a list for yourself. Perhaps take the graduate list and a list of which schools offer undergraduate computer engineering, some selectivity criteria and a review of the courses offered and come up with your own list.

Some other ideas are to call companies such as Apple and ask where they recruit and the names of a few of the schools they consider to be tops.

I recently found a list of the best 100 engineering universities in the USA, but, unfortunately, I lost it and all I can find now are the best 50. Can anybody assist me in finding the top 100 engineering colleges in USA and in Canada (separately)? I'd be grateful to anybody!

    • Canada doesn't have good schools. Go to the USA we are capitalist.
