In spring 2013 we invited college presidents, chief academic officers, deans of students and deans of admissions from more than 1, 500 schools to nominate up to 10 institutions with stellar examples of each program type. If "diversity" is a "strength" as the PC cliche

by says_then_why_do

The most ethnocentric, homogenous, xenophobic countries in the world (China, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Norway, Sweden, etc) score the best on international high school achievement tests? And the most diverse countries (the USA, Latin American countries, Middle Eastern countries) score the lowest on these tests?
With "diversity", the schools get dumbed down to the lowest common denominator, to help the laggard groups and hold down the high-acheiving groups to the point where most of the grad school students in AMERICAN colleges in math/science/engineering are from Asia and Northern Europe

I am a senior now in high school and i'm thinking about majoring in computer engineering in college. Can you guys help me out and tell me about some good colleges in that field thanks :]

    • There are more than 100 good Computer Engineering degree courses in the USA (and another 100 in Computer Technology). You need to be more specific about your preferences: geographic area, competitiveness, small school vs large school, finances, etc.

Is Computer Engineering difficult? I live in USA.I'm a high school-senior ready to graduate and I'm unable to decide for my major. I'm thinking to do a major in computers and the college I'm applying has a special program in which you can have dual degree of bachelors and masters of computer engineering in 5 years..I was just wondering how the studies are?

    • I plan on either doing computer hardware engineering of software engineering and i too am a senior. I have done research on them and the work load really isnt that bad, just a good helping of math and computer programs and such
